Local Partnerships in Haiti and Lithuania
HopeGate works hard to connect with established and effective missionaries, indigenous leaders and frontline humanitarian efforts who are localized in the countries we have been called to help, and who share our mission for helping those in need. We work hand-in-hand with these localized humanitarians to collaborate and prioritize the most beneficial, long-range impact projects that will benefit the many needy villages and communities throughout Haiti and Lithuania. These projects are based around some combination of what we view as basic human needs for survival, both short-range and long-range. We consider these needs to be food, shelter, clean water, healthcare, education, and protection against human trafficking. Our ultimate goal is to help provide the tools necessary for sustainable independence and communal development. Our strategic partners in Haiti and Lithuania are just as passionate about helping and loving people as we are, so every project we undertake is fueled by that passion.
Board Of Directors
Tim Norris, Founder and Chief (1958-2021)
It’s important to recognize the contributions of our former President, Tim Norris. He passed away November 21, 2021, but his vision and passion for helping the needy was left behind and we want to continue the work he was deeply motivated by God to do. From helping hurricane victims and building wells, to helping needy people start a business (teaching them how to fish instead of just giving them fish) and of course feeding multiple schools a meal everyday. He is and will continue to be very missed but hopefully his love for the less fortunate in the world will continue through all of us.
